It had to be EWE...

I know a little corny, but this recent watercolour cried out for that title and I just couldn't resist. I really like painting Sheep and plan a few more in the near future.

The White House

Not THE WHITE HOUSE but the White house in Murfreesboro on Main Street. This is one of 101 paintings I did last year of Historic Rutherford County. I will drop these in between other works from time to time. The big ferns on the front porch are always gigantic.

Christmas card for a friend

Not far from my home, McMinnville, Tn was the first to have the Cowan Oldham

rocking chair theatre. The seats were soooo comfortable. A good friend asked to paint a watercolor from a photo he took a few years back for his Christmas card. This is it.

"Locked in"

Hope you can tell why we picked the title. This family pet has turned into a great retriever.

I framed this once it was finished and put it in the gallery window. Without telling the owner of the dog my friend surprised him by taking him by the shop to see it. Needless to say he was blown away. I am so glad.

A friend of a friend was duck hunting with his dog "Scooter" and took this great photo. I just had to paint it. Next image will show painting.

The President's residence

This is the residence or

the President of Middle Tennessee State University. A home I was in many times during my tenure at the school. I painted it recently from a photo taken a winter ago. It is a wonderful home.
